St Stephen's Anglican Church Richmond Australia

RENOVATION PROGRAM

renoappeal.jpg

St Stephen's has begun an intensive renovation program, aimed at both repairing essential building issues and creating a modern versatile space for increased community involvement. This task is no small feat, with a timeline measured in months rather than weeks.

Visitors will note that renovations have commenced in and around the church, with the intention of making St Stephen's a wonderful, modern worship space, within a sound and safe heritage building. Drainage works have recently been completed and protective screens have been installed for the stained glass windows. The entrance porch will shortly be totally restored. We are progressively raising funds to enable continuing restoration, especially inside the church.

RENOVATION UPDATE

Building works have commenced at St Stephen's under the careful supervision of Reuben's Studio's Andrew Patience.

Over the next few months, we will see the original venting be restored, the lighting more environmentally appropriate, the interior walls repaired and the grounds levelled, drained with provision for tanks and then resealed.

In the meantime, watch this space as we will continue to post updates and photos.
