Parish Quiz Night

The 2nd St. Stephen's Charity Quiz Night was enjoyed by manifold parishioners and friends on the 19th of July. The event focuses on fellowship and outreach and we can be thankful that both were achieved by the 25 or so attendees. The questions were vexing, the games were a laugh and we have a new 'paper, scissors, rock' World Champion in Cecilia Fairlie (who won one of the quiz master's trademark cakes). Including some generous donations the event raised $420 for Don Edgar's ministry in Footscray with Sudanese Refugees. What a wonderful show of generosity from our community in fellowship with another community!

The quiz will be back next year in July so be prepared to fill that hall with friends and rellies next year.
